Midlothian Mirror managing editor

Journalism as a career has been a delightful change from reporting as a student. I had the good fortune of hiring on at an amazing paper, named the best in Texas for its circulation size by the  Texas Press Association and teaming up with my friend, fellow reporter and mentor Shelly Conlon. I also have time and energy to pursue the multitude of ideas that I was perpetually putting off while classes were underway.

Let me tell you, there is no better way to get to know a city and its people than jumping in as a small town news editor. Just check out some of the amazing photos I have taken and been caught in.
