Cowtown Copy & Design LLC is owned and operated by Bethany Kurtz. CC&D was created to assist small businesses, trade associations and community groups with editing, layout, or photography needs without the overhead of a communications department.
Bethany is currently working for the public information office of the Texas Department of Transportation and has served multiple communities in Texas. Most recently, she was a staff writer and social media editor for the Hood County News. Previously, she was the editor of the Midlothian Mirror, the weekly newspaper of Midlothian, Texas. She had also written for the Dallas Business Journal and Corpus Christi Caller-Times.
She graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in journalism from Texas Christian University’s Bob Schieffer School of Journalism and Strategic Communication in 2014 with a minor in history. Bethany received an Associates of Arts in 2012 from Tarrant County College after serving for a year as Editor-in-Chief of The Collegian student newspaper.
